Other countries have their custom as this- a person should bring something to a home he is about to visit. The gifts involved in these traditions are usually wholesale sweets, foods and household ornaments. Whatever people bring, however, these traditions are definitely sweet and very hospitable.

When a person came from a trip, he usually brings goods from the place he visited. These could be the local delicacy, souvenirs, and other local products. From these items he can opt to bring wholesale sweets and other fascinating items and goods. Bringing home one of these tells that the person wants to share what he has experienced from his trip.

For the home about to be visited, it is appropriate for people to bring wholesale sweets, baked goods, and ornamental objects as it is a symbolism of courteousness and generosity. In fact, this act has been done by primitive tribes in ancient times. This is to represent that the visitor came in peace and wants to be friends with the people.
