Or eat the most live goldfish? It must mean something that so many of our celebrities are actually more or less odd. This should be a comfort to the rest of us non-celebrities. 'Most Outrageous' can happen in show biz, politics, the business world, or in just everyday life. Liz Taylor's many marriages, Peewee Herman's sense of humor, President Johnson picking his dog up by the ears, the woman who had so many kids she put one in the trunk of her car and let her out at rest stops. The old lady looking for the beef, Twiggy taking the skinny model look to fashionable extremes, the gecko who sells car insurance - who could have predicted what would catch the public's eye and ear? Other times, the talent is so great that it can't be derailed, and you get to listen to Elvis from the 1950s to forever.
